Matthew Carter
Matt has been a traveling PT and has worked in several different locations/settings in AZ, CA, ID, and OR. When deciding on putting down roots permanently, Matt and his wife, Corinn, focused on the many attributes and offerings of Central Oregon.
His treatment focuses primarily on kinesiology and finding/correcting biomechanical faults in movement patterns and posture through manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilizations/manipulations and soft tissue work, as well as corrective exercises. He especially enjoys working with the neck, shoulders, and lower extremities, as well as with patients with nerve pain and balance deficits. He is RockTape certified.
Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy 2016 from Midwestern University in Phoenix, AZ. Bachelor of Exercise Science 2012 from University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. He also enjoyed studying for a semester at the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina in 2011.
